View itineraryA journey through the history and culture of Buganda, its ancient traditions and customs. You will also visit the royal palace, home of the Kabaka (king) of Buganda.
The tour starts at the Naggalabi Buddo coronation grounds, where the Kabakas of Buganda have been crowned for the past 800 years. We continue to the king's palace, known as Twekobe, which means "working together". Then we walk the Buganda Royal Mile, locally called Kabaka Anjagala Road, which translates as "the king loves me". The road connects the palace to the Buganda Parliament (Lukiiko). We finish at the UNESCO World Heritage listed Kasubi Tombs, the burial place of the kings and the royal family.
