Where the classic safari began

Uganda

The Masai Mara holds the river crossings of the Great Migration, usually from July to October, and Amboseli puts elephants in front of Kilimanjaro. The coast is a short flight away.

Our Westlands office in Nairobi plans Kenya safaris and bush to beach trips with the Indian Ocean coast.

History & Culture

Central Uganda

The central region is largely occupied by the Buganda Kingdom, one of the oldest kingdoms in Uganda. Discover sacred cultural sites that date back to the 14th century, landmarks from the colonial era, and Kampala, known as East Africa's entertainment capital.

Landscapes & Adventure

Eastern Uganda

Escape the city and explore Eastern Uganda for scenery and cultural immersion. The source of the Nile in Jinja is a must for adventure seekers, with white water rafting and bungee jumping. The Imbalu circumcision ceremony of the Bagisu, held in August of every even year, showcases traditional dances and rituals. Sipi Falls, Mount Elgon National Park, Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve and the Nyero rock paintings are all close by.

Wild & Untamed

Northern Uganda

Track southern white rhinos on foot and see the Nile explode through the rocks at Murchison Falls. Further north, find the ruins of Fort Patiko, cool off at the Aruu waterfalls, drive through Uganda's largest conservation areas, visit a remote community on Mount Morungole and search for Fox's weaver, Uganda's only endemic bird. Big landscapes, wide savannah and a lot of wildlife.
