View itineraryWe plan private safaris across Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania and Kenya from four offices in the region: Kampala, Kigali, Arusha and Westlands. Every itinerary starts as a conversation about who is travelling, what you want to see and how you like to travel. Then we build it day by day.
We are not a booking site and we do not sell seats on a fixed departure. You deal with one team that knows the parks, the lodges and the roads between them, from your first message to the drive back to Entebbe.
Start in one country or cross a border or two. Each destination is planned by our office in that country.
Most trips mix two or three of these. Tell us which matters most and we plan around it.
Most journeys start at Entebbe International Airport on the shores of Lake Victoria. From there, each part of the country has its own character.
The central region is largely occupied by the Buganda Kingdom, one of the oldest kingdoms in Uganda. Discover sacred cultural sites that date back to the 14th century, landmarks from the colonial era, and Kampala, known as East Africa's entertainment capital.
Escape the city and explore Eastern Uganda for scenery and cultural immersion. The source of the Nile in Jinja is a must for adventure seekers, with white water rafting and bungee jumping. The Imbalu circumcision ceremony of the Bagisu, held in August of every even year, showcases traditional dances and rituals. Sipi Falls, Mount Elgon National Park, Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve and the Nyero rock paintings are all close by.
Track southern white rhinos on foot and see the Nile explode through the rocks at Murchison Falls. Further north, find the ruins of Fort Patiko, cool off at the Aruu waterfalls, drive through Uganda's largest conservation areas, visit a remote community on Mount Morungole and search for Fox's weaver, Uganda's only endemic bird. Big landscapes, wide savannah and a lot of wildlife.
Western Uganda holds Semuliki, Mgahinga Gorilla, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi Impenetrable and Kibale Forest National Parks, home to gorillas, chimpanzees, elephants and lions. Add the Rwenzori Mountains, Lake Mutanda and Lake Bunyonyi, and cultural stops like the tombs of the Bunyoro Kingdom, the Tooro Kingdom palace, the Great Lakes Museum, the Batwa Trail and the Igongo Cultural Centre.
